It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to our school website! The purpose of this website is to provide parents and carers with the relevant information about our school and to give a clear understanding of what the staff and I are endeavouring to do for your child.

At Ysgol Ffordd Dyffryn we aim to provide a happy, caring and secure environment in which each child will develop their skills and talents to the full. Every child is special and entitled to the kind of teaching which will not only develop that sense of individuality but also sensitivity to the needs of others. In providing a broad, balanced and relevant education we ensure all aspects of a child’s development are encouraged and stimualated, providing not only for the intellectual development but also for social, emotional, physical and aesthetic growth.

The Governors, staff and pupils welcome new parents and pupils to the school. Education is of course a partnership and we look forward to working closely with you for the benefit of your child. We pride ourselves at Ffordd Dyffryn in our efforts to welcome new pupils and we strive to provide a caring and welcoming environment which is fundamental for learning.

Ysgol Ffordd Dyffryn is a Primary School catering for children aged 3-11. The school has well equipped classrooms, stimulating resources and excellent ICT facilities.

It is important that children and staff enjoy a safe and orderly working environment. This prospectus is designed to provide specific guidelines to ensure this.

At Ysgol Ffordd Dyffryn we bring excellence and enjoyment together to instil a life long love of learning, inspiring your child to learn without limits in a friendly and happy environment.
