Llysgenhadon Ysgol / School Ambassadors
Our School Ambassadors want to build good relationships between the school and our local community.
Our Ambassadors wants to promote pride in our school by developing projects that involve everyone.
Our Head boy and girl this year are Anzar and Amelia…
As a School Ambassador what will be expected of you:-
- Discuss your participation on the School Council with parents/carers
- Be prepared to attend School Council meetings
- Work with other elected pupils
- Help raise awareness of the School Council
- Act as a positive role model
- Respect the confidentiality guidelines
- Promote the knowledge of Children’s Rights
The School Ambassadors is a representative group of pupils elected by their peers to discuss matters about their education and raise concerns with the senior managers and governors in our school. They are rights ambassadors and plan and implement activities for the school and local community. There are two representatives from each class from Year 2 to Year 6 that are supported by the Head Boy and Girl.
We have been working hard to promote knowledge of our rights and have recently been awarded the UNICEF Rights Respecting School Bronze Award. We have done this by attending local conventions, working with the local community and planning activities and assemblies for the school.
